“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 3:17-18 KJV)
One of the most glorious things for the New Creation Being is the relationship with God’s Spirit. Now this goes beyond just speaking in tongues but even your day to day walk with Him becomes glorious! This is one of the promises Jesus gave before leaving earth! It was important for Him to go away and He would send another Comforter. Imagine this Comforter is the One who put all creation together at the Word of God! The most beautiful thing is He abides in the believer, with all that power!
The word above tells us, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” The liberty here should not be misinterpreted to mean we can do whatever we want even when it’s contrary to God’s word. It means freedom to operate in the things of God, freedom to go deeper in fellowship with Him. No restriction, no limitation as in the dark era where the voice of the Lord was scarce.
Through the Holy Spirit, we can all behold as in a mirror the glory of the Lord. Not just the man of God and those in ministry but ALL! As we behold, we are changed, metamorphosed into the same image that we behold, the image of His glory. The image that you see in the mirror of His glory becomes you! You are transformed from a mere human to the very nature of God. What a glorious ministry of the Holy Spirit! This is unstoppable as you continue your focus in the mirror, you will move from glory to glory! Awesome! This is all made possible by the Spirit of God.
As a believer, you have been given all in the Holy Spirit. Seek to know Him better! Seek to go deeper with Him. This is done through prayer and fasting, through obedience to His voice and through study and meditation of His Word. Go deeper child of God with Holy Spirit! Go deeper, the Holy Spirit is waiting for you! There is more glory, you can go deeper and deeper!
I pray for you that you may come to a complete knowledge of His Spirit. That your walk with Him may become visible and the world may behold His glory in you.
Declare this,
Holy Spirit take total control of my life. Bring me deeper and deeper into your glory. Move me from scratching the surface of glory and experience new levels and dimensions of the God kind of life!
