How to walk on water

He said, Come! So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water, and he came toward Jesus. But when he perceived and felt the strong wind, he was frightened, and as he began to sink, he cried out, Lord, save me [from death]! (Matthew 14:30 AMP)

There are many things that we look at as impossible owing to our life experiences and the supposed facts of life. The word today is simply that you can walk on water. The things you deemed Impossible are possible through faith. As a child of God the only facts of life are in the word of God, anything else that tries to stand as a fact is not true.

Peter asked the Lord if he could come and walk with Him on the water. The word from Jesus was simple, ‘come.’ Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water as he came towards Jesus. His quest of faith was derailed when he looked at the facts of life! He perceived and felt the strong wind and fear crept inside him. The moment fear crept in, faith departed and immediately he began to sink.

Child of God, what are you allowing yourself to perceive? Does it bring faith or fear inside of you? Are you looking at the symptoms instead of the word of God? Are you looking at the economy instead of keeping your eyes on Jesus? The more you look at your surroundings, the more fear builds up in you and you sink lower and lower in the financial situation or sickness. Yes the natural things may seem real but the word of God through faith is what brings stability! All the other natural things are vain and are used by the enemy as a way of deceiving you.

Without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). As long as Peter had faith, he stayed afloat but when faith departed, he started sinking! Determine in your heart today to stand in faith. No matter the symptoms, no matter the way things are looking, stand in faith! Without doubt of God’s word, your life will go to another level through faith.

Many that Jesus healed, He attributed it to their faith. Today you can believe and walk on water. Impossible situations will become possible. I pray for you today, that fear finds its way out of your life and that faith in the word occupies your whole being.

Declare this,
I choose to believe God’s word. I overcome fear as I keep my eyes firm on Jesus. I choose to walk by faith and not by sight in Jesus’ name.

I found the thief

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10 KJV)

Many believers are not sure of who the thief is. You can hear it from their language as they blame God for negative things that happen in their life. It is important to understand this, that when God made you, He blessed you and the coming of Jesus reinforced this. His coming claimed back everything the devil had stolen from is through Adam and Eve.

The thief does not come to celebrate good things on your life. He comes to steal, kill and destroy. He is always lurking, going around looking for an opportunity to fulfill his desire in your life. You need to know your kingdom rights and enforce them!

Jesus said He came that you might have life and have it more abundantly! All good gifts are from God. He is not the author of the disease, destruction and all manner of losses that occur in your life. Rise up and speak the Word of God. Rise up and rebuke the devil and tell him that he has no power nor authority over your life. Claim back that which he has stolen from you.

Jesus told us from the days of John the Baptist the kingdom suffers violence and the violent take it by force (Matt 11:12). Raise your level of prayer and resistance towards the enemy. He is in the habit of trying to place things upon us but you must resist the devil and he will flee away from you (James 4:7). The word of God doesn’t lie! The thief is programmed to flee when he is resisted. You resist with the word of God. Don’t allow him a foothold or a small thought in your life, he will want to take over the whole body or mind.

The thief is the devil, the murderer is the devil, the devil is the destroyer! Jesus is the giver of life in abundance. I pray for you that your eyes may be opened to see the hand of God in your situation. May you receive grace to distinguish between the hand of God and that of the enemy.

Declare this,
I receive abundance of life. I resist the devil with all I have and as a result he is fleeing from my family, finances, body and mind in Jesus’ name.

The benefits of redemption (2)

And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee. (Exodus 15:26 KJV)

One has to anchor their faith in the word of God for them to get results out of it. The word clearly says that faith comes by hearing and hearing the word (Romans 10:17). A total following of His word will protect one from any form of disease. God says here clearly that I am the God that heals you. This means He is not the author of disease in your body.

I want you to know today that it is never God’s idea for sickness to take possession of your body. He wants you well and in good health. You must be a demonstration of God’s goodness in your life. Salvation and healing were both paid for on the cross. If you have faith for salvation, surely you should have faith for healing of your body.

Don’t allow the devil to lie to you. He has been a deceiver from the beginning. Remember he managed to get Eve through deception telling her she would get things that were already given to her.

There is nothing too hard for God. No sickness that is above His healing power. He is the one who created you by His word. As you continue to stand on His word, it has the capacity to repair, renew and replace whatever part of your body is attacked. Hold on, don’t fear, let faith and total belief in the word of God reign in your life.
Confess the word, speak the word until it sinks deep into your spirit. Let the word take over all of your system. God is faithful to His promises, believe and you will witness His healing power.

I pray for you that your faith will be strengthened in the word of God. May your life be preserved because God is not a man that He should lie. He is true to His promises.

Declare this,
I am the healed of God. His power is at work in every part of my body. I believe that just as He went about healing the sick, He is still doing the same today.

The benefits of redemption

He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree[as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24 AMP)

Happy new year, I pray this one will be a special one to you and your family. It is important today that we deal with the benefits of redemption. The coming of Jesus here on earth needs all of us to understand so that we do not fall to the lies and tricks of the devil.

When Jesus was crucified, he took our sins in His own body. The reason was that we may cease as Christians to exist in sin. Not only did he do that, He received stripes resulting in Him being wounded, the word is clear that by His wounds we were healed. You must notice that this is all in the past. We were healed. Nothing has a right to touch your body.

It is your benefit of redemption to walk in divine health! It doesn’t matter what nature of sickness is pronounced upon you, you can believe the word of God and experience total redemption. He came to redeem your soul and your body. There is no reason whatsoever for you to accept sickness in your body.

David understood redemption even though He existed before the death of Christ. Take time to look at what he says in Psalm 103:2-3. He walked in the faith you as a believer should walk in today. Refuse to accept that back pain, that stomach trouble, that headache, that hand or neck pain. Refuse to accept that hyper tension or whatever they pronounce on you. Stand on the word of God and be stubborn about it!

God has given it all to you, the question is are you ready to receive your total redemption? Satan has no power to put anything on you, all power was taken away from him. All he uses is deception. Refuse to be deceived and believe the word of God. Jesus died for your freedom.

I pray for you today that a new level of faith rises within you that will take you far above sin and sickness. Faith that will open up your womb if you remained childless and faith that will take away that chronic condition.

Declare this,
Bless the Lord all my soul and all that is within me. I will not forget His benefits, He forgives my all my sins and heals all my diseases.
