Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name! (Psalms 100:4 AMP)
Thanksgiving is one of the most powerful weapons that we are given as believers. When we understand its power, we will be able to access the promises of God over and over again. There are gates in God’s presence and the password or key to these gates is thanksgiving. When you are in the courts, praise is what propels you forward.
Now life brings different seasons! There are valleys and mountains, there are moments of hardship and moments of joy. The one victorious is the one able to give thanks in all seasons. You don’t only give thanks when the miracle has happened, you give thanks even when you are in the tunnel, awaiting the miracle.
God loves your thanksgiving and praise and it prompts him to do more for you. If you can’t thank Him and are in the habit of blaming Him for misfortunes, you let the devil continue having a door in your life to manipulate and destroy you. Have you been retrenched? Give Him thanks, have you lost you job? Give Him thanks. Have you been robbed of all, give Him thanks. This will open great doors of restoration.
Whatever situation you are facing will come to pass! Remain patient and you will see the hand of God in the land of the living. He is the one who provided food in the desert to the children of Israel for forty years. A great miracle! The clothes they wore remained fresh and their shoes were not worn out despite walking in the desert for forty years. A great miracle! Your miracle is at hand if you are ready to give Him thanks in all situations. There is nothing that is impossible with our God. He who brought water out of the flint rock will ensure you see your miracle!
Faith demands that you give thanks now even though you can’t see your answer with your optical eyes! See with the eyes of faith and begin to praise Him today for your miracle. I pray for you today that your mouth will begin to praise Him despite the situation.
Lord I give you thanks today as I enter your gates. I declare praises with my lips knowing that you who has began a good work in me will finish it. Hallelujah!
