We are redeemed! – Prayer & Fasting Day 6

From the Shepherd's Desk by Charles Magaiza

In Christ there is so much that has been given to us that we should never overlook. Our lives were revived and we were fished out of the pit within which the enemy had buried us. This happened gave up our rights to the enemy. God’s plan was always to redeem us and He did so. Look at this prophetic word in the book of Psalm:

Psalms 85:10 (KJV)
Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

God has released mercy on you. Righteousness has been given as a gift to us. Peace is part of the package of being a son of God. You have to be bold and claim your rights otherwise the enemy will tease you owing to a lack of knowledge. Rise above all this and declare God’s Word over your life and situation!

As you pray today,
# Do it with the knowledge that mercy has been released on your life.
# Find scriptures that relate to your situation and pray declaring this truth.
# Thank God for the gift of righteousness.
# Declare peace over your life, loved ones and that relates to you.

Prayer & Fasting Day 5

From the Shepherd's Desk by Charles Magaiza

One of the greatest gifts that came with you salvation is wisdom. If we look and see the wisdom Solomon received, you carry much more in this covenant. Let’s go to one demonstration of this wisdom, it was of two prostitutes who came to him. There was a dead child and a living one. He made an amazing judgment to pinpoint who the living child belonged to.

1 Kings 3:28 (KJV)
And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment.

The Apostle Paul tells us;

1 Corinthians 1:30
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

God Has made Christ unto us wisdom. You need to function in this wisdom. It is already given to you, you have it already. Don’t waste it, make use it to change circumstances in your life. Many are praying for wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption. Things they already have. That is praying amiss.

Today as you pray ask,
# For understanding of the wisdom you already have.
# Like Solomon, exercise that wisdom and make a name for yourself.
# Wisdom gives the ability of judgment and making proper decisions
#Ask for direction for 2018 using God’s wisdom not your own senses.
# Declare that yours is the living child.

You are a new creature! – Prayer & Fasting Day 4

From the Shepherd's Desk by Charles Magaiza

The main thing that matters now is that you are a new creature. Not traditions and other things. Paul elaborates and shows us that when Christ died and received him as Lord, we became new creatures. Our sins were removed and we began a new life as new creatures. We might look like the next person to us but if they are not born again, we are vastly different.

Galatians 6:15
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

There is no longer a dividing line between us and Jews, what matters is receiving Christ. Circumcision and uncircumcised have all become traditions. If one has not received Christ, they are spiritually dead, even if they hold a PHD in Theology.

Today I challenge you to raise the bar in terms of your spirituality. As a new creature you live above all the interruptions of the devil. No demon nor witchcraft can hold you back.

#As you pray today, ask for a deeper revelation about your being a new creature.
#Ask for souls so that they may become new creatures too.
#Remind the devil that you are superhuman and a new creature.
#Raise the bar, pray on day four, it’s not over till God the Father says so.e Father says so.

You are a son of God! – Prayer & Fasting Day 3

From the Shepherd's Desk by Charles Magaiza

It is important to understand that Christianity is not a religion. The name of your sect or church does not matter. What God did when Christ came to die on that cross was to make us His very sons. It is however up to us to accept Him as Lord.

We have received the adoption of sons as God promised to Abraham. Through faith we were adopted as his sons or daughters. Don’t look down upon yourself because you are carrying something special.

Galatians 4:6
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

We can call him Father, we are no longer servants and when He looks at us He sees something really special. When we pray we must address Him as our Father. This is the greatest price Christ paid, to win us as sons to the Father.

# As you pray today, don’t fear, claim your rights as a son (daughter) of the Father.
#Don’t allow your mind to be polluted by lies about religion and the many fathers who claim easier access into the throne room. Christ Has done it all. He is the only way to the Father and He granted you access.
#We are not in religion and we are not under the shackles of the law and Satan anymore. Pray for deeper revelation of your sonship.

He has done everything – Prayer & Fasting Day 2

From the Shepherd's Desk by Charles Magaiza

Many are praying to God to do something about their situation. He has equipped you to overcome any situation. The Psalmist looked at the children of Israel, the fear that engulfed them when they turned back instead of facing their enemies.

They turned back and tempted God in the wilderness and limited Him. Many times we limit God by turning back on His promises. As we pray on day two, refuse to observe the situation and keep pushing forward. God is with you! It might seem to take time but His mercies endure forever!

He has given Christ, His best Gift and He will not hold anything else from you. Rise above the situation no matter how extreme spiritually and mentally! You are a winner in Christ. Enter that situation speaking in tongues- heaven wants to hear your tongues!

Refuse to fear or be intimidated, Stand firm on the word. Blessings were released, floodgates of favour were opened!

As you pray today

# ask for grace to overcome which is the bait of the enemy.
# Refuse to turn back, keep pushing. That refinery will give in soon.
# Keep declaring the promises of God.
# Ask Big, ask for nations! He said He will give you nations as an inheritance.

You can see without eyes – Prayer & Fasting Day 1

From the Shepherd's Desk by Charles Magaiza

I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. – Revelation 1:9

What is important is spiritual eyesight, as we embark on our annual 21 Days prayer and fasting journey, I want to encourage you to look at things that are above and not below! Things that are supernatural and not natural! You can see without natural eyes.

John was persecuted, his eyes removed for the testimony of our Lord Jesus Christ. He was dumped on the island of Patmos. This did not stop him. The book of Revelation is full of the things the Lord began to reveal to him. He saw the future and gives us a deeper glimpse of heaven and earth, angels and the devil etc.

My point today is that you can see without eyes. Don’t look at the handicaps of this world nor the things that you have or don’t have as a reason for worshipping God. Yes you will meet persecution, yes challenges will come but in all that tribulation hold on to the patience of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As you pray today.
# Search you inner being, are you worshipping him for things or it is genuine worship.
#Repent for seeking things and not Him.
#Ask him to reveal Himself to you so you can see without eyes- cry for the supernatural.
#Ask for patience in tribulation.
