BELIEVE THE WORD (PART 2)

And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief. (Matthew 13:58 KJV)

Unbelief is the absence of faith. It accomplishes nothing and robs one of the benefits that faith brings. Unbelief has the power to block God from acting on ones behalf.

Jesus went into his own hometown at the climax of his ministry. The sick were being healed, blind eyes were being opened and he was performing many signs and wonders. This was not so in his home town. They looked at him and marveled but soon they were thinking this is the carpenter’s son and many other things. Unbelief then crept in and it crippled the channel that made Jesus do might works. Blocked by their unbelief, He could not do much there. Unbelief has the capacity of locking away miracles, signs and wonders. Yes, it has the ability to stop God from accomplishing great things here on earth.

The ruler of the synagogue went to Jesus desiring healing for his daughter. She died as he waited for Jesus to go to the house with him. They brought him the report saying trouble not the master, your daughter has died. Luke 8:50 tells us, ‘but when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.’

All that was required by Jesus to change the situation was faith from the ruler of the synagogue. Faith can reverse even death!

I say to you today, don’t panic in the face of that situation, fear not and believe only. The Master will defy even death and bring life even in that deathly situation.

Declare this,
I choose to believe today for a turnaround in every impossible situation that I was facing. I receive my miracle. Fear is not my portion. Wholeness is coming to me in Jesus’ name!
