As believers we are in a privileged position. We were not left as orphans, the Holy Spirit was given to us. When our Lord Jesus himself ascended the word tells us,
Mark 16:19
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
He took the place of honor on the Father’s side but He isn’t just a spectator. Look at what Hebrews tells us,
Hebrews 7:25
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
His permanent job is intercession for those who come unto God by Him. He is our representation in the throne room. As we enter in it is through him, that’s why we pray ‘in’ the name of Jesus not ‘by’ the name of Jesus. His prayer altar is the most powerful altar in the universe. Is there any issue that is a continuous bother, bring it to this altar which carries instant results?
Peter was told, the devil had desired to have you and sift you like wheat! (Luke 22:31-2). It was a dangerous desire from the enemy but verse 32 says, but I have prayed for thee that thy faith fail not. He is ready to present your deepest most painful request before the Father and He always gets results. He prayed for the deaf man, one word Ephphatha and the dumb and deaf spirit left (Mark 7:34). The dead girl at 12 years at the petition of her father, he prayed for her talitha cumi, little girl arise and death left! (Mark 5:41).
Think of Lazarus who was dead four days, they said he is now stinking! Jesus prayed and called him out of the grave. Don’t over estimate your problem, bring it before the altar of the One who prays and instantly gets answers. Be confident to go through Him as you pray in the name of Jesus.
#That chronic disease will go
#That poverty that has tormented you will go
#That circle of unanswered prayers will end as you being issues to His altar in faith.
#You are not forgotten, Jesus knows you by name and intercedes for you.
