One thing we used to do growing up was to make sure we intimidated somebody so they don’t even enter a fight especially if you knew you might not win the fight. Well, over and over the devil uses this tactic and ends up defeating many believers without them taking cognizance of their rights. The word of God is a living word, He is His word. If you get hold of the word and allow yourself to be engraftment in it, you become what it says you are.
One of the departed seniors says, the word of God is;
Supernatural in origin
Eternal in duration
Inexpressible in valor
Infinite in scope
Regenerative in power
Infallible in authority
Universal in application
Inspired in totality;
He says we should thus,
Read it through
Write it down
Pray it in
Work it out
Pass it on.
I think this is a deep definition of God’s word needing meditation from us and serious action thereafter. If we open ourselves to God, He will flow through us.
Picture this, a full understanding of God’s word will cause you to see that you are greater and stronger than the devil. It will reveal to you that there is no power in the enemy as it was taken when Jesus rose from the dead.
Luke 4:36
And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.
Jesus is the ultimate example of the power of the word in us. He has passed on this power through His word. When you ignore the word, you ignore His power! This period of prayer and fasting has made you stronger, your greatest challenge is maintaining these levels. Don’t let anything make you drop the level because the devil will be lurking in the background to see how he can maximize his agenda to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10).
Stand on the word, stand on the word, stand on the word! 2016 must find you ready for any form of challenge as you build on your prosperity. Accept nothing less than God’s word in your life. If you played during this period and ignored the messages you might have deprived yourself of an opportunity to build your future. Time in God’s word is never a waste of time. It is the devil that makes one lose interest in the word. This is day 20, you have done well so far!
#You are greater and stronger
#Stand on the word of God
#Your time to rise has come
#Refuse to settle for anything less than God’s word.
#Use those wings to go to greater heights of faith
#His word has put power in your hands.
