The Apostle Paul’s calling is both amazing and a great blessing. God used him to be a great blessing not only to the early church but the church today.
His hunger for the fullness of Christ caused him to touch the world in a dynamic way. But there are things he needed to do to get to this level. He had to ignore the past and make a decision to move forward with the calling of the Lord. In terms of Jewish religious credentials, Paul was highly ranked but for the high calling in Christ, he had to throw it all away. Listen to what he says,
Philippians 3:8
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
His desire was to win Christ! What are you ready to give up in this season to win Christ? To win it has to be a race! Are you going to keep that stubborn head or mind and maintain pride in those credentials which you achieved in the past? Let it go! Come He says, come higher but what you are carrying is keeping you down like the law of gravity.
I continue to emphasize that He wants to use you as an answer to the ills of this world. He wants you to manifest as a son in this season. To be a great blessing to a confused world which is hungry for the supernatural. You are that answer! What are you ready to count as dung to win Christ?
Today make a reflection of your own life? Are you in the place where He wants you to be spiritually? Is the word applied in your life, is it yielding its results or your are stagnant? Everyday must be a new day in the life of faith. You must experience God on a new level. You must see God on a new level!
#Forget the past especially its failures.
#There are things you must count as dung so as to win Christ.
#Forget the past and look to Him, take your eyes off the world.
#He is calling to a higher life. A life that is above the life you have been chasing.
