There is a level of knowledge of Christ that we must come to. A full knowledge that carries no doubt in our hearts or minds of who He is. As He walked here on earth, there was lots of confusion amongst people as to who Jesus was and this also fell upon the disciples.
Mark 8:27-29
And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?
And they answered, John the Baptist: but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets.
And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.
Peter knew this by revelation not by head knowledge. The Holy Spirit had to reveal this to him. Your shallow knowledge is not going to achieve anything! Seek deeper, find Him. He is so near but yet so far!
Whom do you know Jesus as? What is His role in your life? Saint, it is time to dig deep. To cry to Him and tell Him you want to know Him in a deeper way! Remember deep calls unto deep. When you get to know Him, your confidence in Him increases. You easily become a beneficially of the promises that are given in the word. During this fast, refuse to be like those who are running all over knowing many different faces but without a clue of the full identity of Christ.
Listen to one of the greatest apostles Paul;
Philippians 3:10
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
With all the encounters Paul had with Christ, All the power he witnessed, he still was in a place in which he craved to know Him and the power of his resurrection. Child of God, this is deep! You need to dig deep as you pray and fast today. You must come out with a new knowledge and fellowship with Him. You must get to a place where He knows you as His friend. Go deeper in seeking His face. Listen for His voice. Seek a place at His altar. Seek, seek, seek!
Your time for world dominance has come but you need to know the Christ who has dominated the the world for you in a deeper way.
#Deep calls to deep
#Lord I want to know you more
# I will seek a place at your altar, Lord draw me near to you.
#Lord deal with my shallow knowledge of you so I can fulfill my mandate.
