There was a certain man there who had suffered with a deep-seated and lingering disorder for thirty-eight years. (John 5:5 AMP)
Jesus’ mission on earth was to do good things and at times He went off on His own just to bring joy to one soul. On one such day, He came to Bethesda, a place of uniqueness where the waters at the pool healed upon their stirring by an angel. Many with infirmities congregated there in anticipation of the day when they would be first in the pool.
A certain man was amongst them, thirty eight years of paralysis; a deep-seated and lingering disorder. Jesus without being told knew all about it. This man had hoped for long but had nobody to help him. He was at the threshold of a miracle all this time but was short of somebody to give him the final push. He was witness to many healings that took place, he could testify to those that came how this water healed upon the stirring of the angel.
As I write to you today, you are in a place where progress has eluded you. You try things and nothing seems to come through. You know that the things you are trying bring good results, you have testimonies of those who have done it and they succeeded. What you are lacking is that final push!
When Jesus approached this man, he changed his story and redefined his future. He would no longer sit by the pool but could now go and work for himself. He could go and be with his family. He could determine where to go and when to go there. What a glorious change of story!
As you move in faith, know that God Has better methods up his sleeve. Jesus did not need to put the man in the pool and call on the angel to come and stir the water or stir the water Himself since He had the power to do both. He spoke the Word, “Get up, pick up your bed and walk!” Strength came into his bones and his muscles; the man arose and picked up his bed. “Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees,” Job 4:4! The Word pronounced in faith has power to re position the fallen. It is powerful enough to bring strength to those knees that have been destroyed by arthritis.
There is a testimony in the brew for you today! Let the Word permeate your being as you continue to declare it! Deep-seated lingering disorders will be turned into deep-seated lingering blessings!

My deep-seated lingering disorders are being turned into deep-seated lingering orders to the shame of Satan and his cohorts in Jesus’ name!
