And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? (Luke 24:5 KJV)
The hustles and bustles of the life we live today can easily take our eyes off the things that are important. Many have argued about the reality of Christianity and they have tried to annul the truth of Christ the Messiah coming to save the world. The truth is that Christ came and went about doing good and eventually laid His life for our freedom. The Bible tells us that He healed the sick and delivered those that were captive to demonic spirits. He did not choose who to set free, He did it for everyone who came to Him. His death of the cross was the ultimate price that He paid for your redemption. There is deep truth in this but today I want you to focus on the fact that Christ is risen.
The above reference takes us to look where some of the followers of Christ went to the tomb and found it empty. They were confused because they did not understand the scriptures. He had clearly told them He would rise on the third day. The angel asked, ‘Why seek you the living among the dead?’ Christ is no longer in the grave, the tomb is empty! He is now ever living and making intercession for us. Romans 8:34
‘Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.’ Refuse to allow the devil to confuse you with his lies. You do have representation right in the throne room, at the right hand of the Father making intercession for you.
You can overcome that challenge you are facing! You can overcome that disease and sickness. You can rise above that financial situation and relationship challenges. You can rise above any form of situation. Take steps to approach Jesus your advocate and give Him the right to approach the Father on your behalf. How do you do this, use the name of the living Lord, the name Jesus. Ask the Father in His name and you will see positive results in your situation.
The devil comes to kill steal and destroy but Jesus says I have come that you might have life in abundance (John 10:10). What you confess is important! Jesus paid the price on the cross you don’t need to pay anything again. Don’t speak negatively! Speak His word as he came to liberate you from all the oppressions of the devil. Because He died, you live! Open your mouth and declare your freedom from all the works of the devil. Declare only what the Word of God says about you not the negative situation.
I pray for you today that every challenge you are facing will bow down to the power of the living Christ. As you read this, may your life be turned around for the best to the glory of His name.
Because He is risen, I am walking in victory over every difficult and challenge that the devil was bringing against my life. I rise in the power of the blood of Jesus that was shed for my victory in this life.
