I found the thief

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10 KJV)

Many believers are not sure of who the thief is. You can hear it from their language as they blame God for negative things that happen in their life. It is important to understand this, that when God made you, He blessed you and the coming of Jesus reinforced this. His coming claimed back everything the devil had stolen from is through Adam and Eve.

The thief does not come to celebrate good things on your life. He comes to steal, kill and destroy. He is always lurking, going around looking for an opportunity to fulfill his desire in your life. You need to know your kingdom rights and enforce them!

Jesus said He came that you might have life and have it more abundantly! All good gifts are from God. He is not the author of the disease, destruction and all manner of losses that occur in your life. Rise up and speak the Word of God. Rise up and rebuke the devil and tell him that he has no power nor authority over your life. Claim back that which he has stolen from you.

Jesus told us from the days of John the Baptist the kingdom suffers violence and the violent take it by force (Matt 11:12). Raise your level of prayer and resistance towards the enemy. He is in the habit of trying to place things upon us but you must resist the devil and he will flee away from you (James 4:7). The word of God doesn’t lie! The thief is programmed to flee when he is resisted. You resist with the word of God. Don’t allow him a foothold or a small thought in your life, he will want to take over the whole body or mind.

The thief is the devil, the murderer is the devil, the devil is the destroyer! Jesus is the giver of life in abundance. I pray for you that your eyes may be opened to see the hand of God in your situation. May you receive grace to distinguish between the hand of God and that of the enemy.

Declare this,
I receive abundance of life. I resist the devil with all I have and as a result he is fleeing from my family, finances, body and mind in Jesus’ name.
