Zechariah 3:1-4
The office of a priest is that of interceding between God and the people. To do this purity is required as God can’t tolerate sin in His presence. Satan was standing at the right hand of Joshua the High Priest to accuse him before God. On the other side was the angel of the Lord.
The Lord said, “The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan.” Joshua had been clothed with filthy garments and stood before the Angel.
The Lord commanded, take away the filthy garments from him. Remove them, revolt! That word remove is equal to revolt! Without revolting the accuser continues accusing and your year will remain the same! Same issues, challenges etc.
He said, “Behold I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee and I will clothe thee with a change of raiment.” (Verse 4)
Today pray:
> Lord rebuke the accuser and cause me to overcome all his tactics.
> Lord remove the filthy garment from me as this is a real time reality in Christ.
>Thank the Lord for sending Jesus to pardon your iniquity.
> Give thanks to the Lord for the work of redemption which released you from the bonds of the enemy.
> Thank God for a change of raiment all the sin was blotted at Calvary.
> Give Him thanks for all this is a work of love for you. If you were left in the hands of the accuser, where would you be? Ask yourself that question. He saved you because He loved you.
