KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE (1)

And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh. Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams. (Genesis 37:19-20 KJV)

At an early age, Joseph began to experience exciting dreams about his future. It was clear that there was something special about him and his father Jacob was aware of it. He made him a coat of many colours.

Joseph was excited to share his dreams with his brothers but little did he know that it was evoking jealousy and resentment from them. It is important to know who you share your dreams with. Dreams must be natured and incubated to come to their place of fulfilment. The brothers conspired to kill Joseph and cast him into a pit. They wanted to see what would become of his dreams.

The devil is after destroying your dreams. His desire is for them not to be fulfilled. He will fight them with everything he has. Today, may the spirit of God re-energize you to pursue your dreams. That frustration you were encountering is the devil who wanted you to stop pursuing. May the zeal of The Lord empower you.

Only you can kill the dream by giving up. There is no external force that has the ability to. Decide today to keep your dream alive. Be cautious about who you share that special dream with.

I pray for you that the anointing of God’s Spirit will energize you to pursue. May victory be your portion in this hour.

Declare this,
I gather my strength and pursue every dream given to me by God. I refuse to give up, I refuse to surrender in Jesus’ name.
