For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.” (Psalms 36:9 KJV)
Many go around ignorant of the reason, purpose and source of life. You will find a lot of complacency amongst people and unfortunately even amongst believers. The Psalmist was clear on the source of life, he declares, “For with thee is the fountain of life.” Look, you need to connect yourself to the fountain of life for you to live life meaningfully and with purpose. When the fountain is missing, it means you are groping in darkness and soon it will all end without reason or fruitfulness.
The Fountain of Life is God the Father Himself. “In thy light shall we see light.” I mentioned above that one can spend their life groping in darkness. The Psalmist shows us here that when we connect to God the Father through Christ our Redeemer, in His light shall we see light! If you are not in His light, you will see no light, you are in darkness. If you are in His light, darkness has no portion in you. For where light appears, darkness immediately disappears. There is no contest between light and darkness.
You probably wonder why your life seems to go around in circles. Ask yourself, “Am I in the light?” Do I seek Him as I should or I follow all sorts of other things? His light is revelation! For you to key into His revelation it is going to be through the Word of God! Not another man as we all prophesy in part. Study the Word of God for yourself and escape the darkness that will keep you in all sorts of challenges. Revelation clears your path meaning that your business, family, marriage, job and spiritual journey will bask in the light of His glory!
When Abraham came into this light, all the generations after him basked in the glory of it. You too can make a decision today to pursue after God and His fullness. It will change your life and affect the generations that come after you. Jesus awaits your coming into this light. Allow your life to be driven by the revelation of who God is and what He has made you to be.
I pray for you that you may find it in your heart to seek first the kingdom of God. To seek His face till you find Him. He is so near but yet so far but today begin that journey into His light through His Word.
Declare this
I move deeper into the light and revelation of God. In His light I will begin to see light and I will not go around in darkness anymore. I thank you Lord for providing a way for me through Christ.
