For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. (2 Co 8:9 KJV)
What an awesome story of love and devotion! He sat on the great throne, walked on the streets of gold and was in all ways ordained with the best yet He was willing to come down. To descend from this great life and give Himself for us is grace unspeakable.
It is this grace that Apostle Paul speaks of, though he was rich, for our sakes he became poor that we through his poverty might be rich. It is injustice to accept a life of suffering and poverty. It is injustice to allow poverty to master your life when the Master of life came to liberate you from the shackles of poverty.
This grace is available to lift you up from nothing to something, from no one to someone. No one is touched by this grace and remains the same. When nations receive the gospel, it transforms them. When families experience salvation, their story is rewritten.
Jehovah speaks in Psalm and says:
For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. (Psa 50:10 KJV)
He is the owner of all the things we see. It is in His hand to command! There is no day He is going to feast on these beasts. He has stored them up for His children, those that fear Him. He says that if He was hungry he would not tell us for all the world is His. This is the One you call your Father. A deep understanding of Him must surely change your life. You can be custodian of these secret treasures. Today, challenge yourself to unlearn all the things that pulled you back and learn the truth from the word of God.
I pray for you today that the great hand of the Lord be upon you. That you may see the great treasures He has stored up for you. I pray that you may work the works of God in this season as you discover the fullness of the blessing of the Lord upon your life. As you walk with Him, may your distinction appear to all! Let the world see you differently now as you become a custodian of the secrets of God, say AMEN!
