And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. (Exodus 33:18 KJV)
Moses was a man who constantly heard the voice of God. For Moses, God spoke face to face with him as one would speak to a friend. He was a chosen prophet for his time, to bring redemption and freedom to the children of Israel.
This man Moses, with his deep knowledge of God desired more of God. There was a deeper encounter he sought from God. He cried to Him, “Show me your glory.” There is a place where one must quest for God! In this place, everything else is surrendered and there is a hunger for the deeper things of God.
The demands of the world have the ability of taking ones attention from the things that matter. The things that people toil with in the world are easily found when one whole heartedly commits themselves to God. It is in this place of commitment that answers to solution defying questions are found.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33 KJV). When one seeks after the kingdom of God, pursues after his righteousness, all the other things people seek after will be received.
When Moses cried to God for a deeper level of his experience with Him, God surely answered him. He was ready to give him a fresh experience of His power. When you commit yourself to seek after God, He will reveal himself to you.
I pray for you today that a new hunger for God grows within you. May your focus be changed to be towards God!

Thank you Lord for igniting my life with a new hunger for your things. As I seek your face thank you for adding all the things I have been pursuing to me.
