Has it ever occurred to you that out of all creation, it is humans that are given the ability to speak? Languages may differ but speech remains a unique capability. The ability to speak and communicate has brought about development and a civilization that other creatures must envy.
Words are triggers in the spirit realm. They set in motion things that become big. The mouth is a small trigger which boasts of big results. It is the most productive member capable of bringing fulfilment to all the other members of the body. It wields the power of increase; out of it one can acquire substance. On the reverse, it can be a source of bitter waters issuing only death to the whole body and those around.
The devil was defeated and has no power; he will only be effective if he works together with you. One of the ways is to get you to speak words, manipulate the creative power already in you and bring about his agenda in your life.
Today, deploy a guard over your mouth. Hold on to your confession of faith! Raise words of victory from your mouth. For as long as you live, do not entertain some words on your mouth. The world is surprised about the amount of decay in the younger citizens and they wonder why? Listen to their music, they can’t sing along to “I am bad!” and remain good. If the devil can put it in your ear, it’s in your mind and then in your mouth, the cycle is complete. They can’t sing along to Britney Spear’s Femme Fatale and retain sexual integrity. They can’t sing along to Gaga’s Judas and continue to esteem Christ as king in their lives.
Today, take charge of the words that proceed out of your mouth. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Shout, I CHOOSE LIFE!
