We wrestle not flesh and blood

From the Shepherd's Desk by Charles Magaiza

The enemy tries to attack in various forms and kinds and would have us believe that it is all natural. But today brethren I want to exhort to look deeper into the challenges that you are facing. All good gifts come from above. Anything that does not fall into good is of the enemy and must be renounced in faith. Standing upon the word of the Lord resolute and unmoved! Jesus endured the cross because He looked at the joy ahead.

Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Don’t be tempted to look at the natural for answers but as Paul clearly says, we wrestle not flesh and blood but we are dealing with
1. Principalities
2. Powers
3. Rulers of darkness of this world
4. Spiritual wickedness in high places

It may sound overwhelming but this week I found a song that blessed my spirit called, “This is how I fight my battles. It may look like I am surrounded but I am surrounded by you.”

The Psalmist asked, “If the foundations be destroyed what can the righteous do?” His answer, “ The Lord is in His Holy temple, the Lord’s throne is in heaven: his eyes behold..” You are not out of His sight! It might look like you are cornered but you are surrounded by Him! He is your deliverer, call to Him now.

Discard fear saint because even though the enemy is still active on earth, God is supreme. Put your trust completely on the blood of the Lamb that was shed!

Yes it may look like you surrounded but you are surrounded by Him! Don’t fear, keep walking by faith!
