Hosea put it well: I’ll call nobodies and make them somebodies; I’ll call the unloved and make them beloved. In the place where they yelled out, “You’re nobody!” they’re calling you “God’s living children.” (Romans 9:25-26 MSG)
Are you feeling exhausted today by what seems to be the constant hustles and bustles of life? Do you feel like a nobody, just part of the numbers of people in the world? Are you feeling unloved and forsaken? You don’t need to feel this way because you are God’s beloved and He has special plans for you.
He says, “For I know the plans I have for you. Plans for good and not for evil. Plans to bring you an expected end.” (Jeremiah 29:11). It might look dark and gloomy right now but this is not the end. Night will soon turn into day. That situation will soon change! God’s grace is sufficient for you and things will turn around for your good.
He says I will call nobodies and make them somebodies. He knows you by name, you are not just an insignificant number. He is interested in the intimate detail of your life. From the time you were born, He has been intimately present in your life. He has defended you and protected you in times you would have been the devil’s prey.
People might have rejected you and you are feeling that life is not worth living. Before you go in that direction of thought, God is calling you His beloved today. His love surpasses the love of anyone in this world. Don’t worry about those who have left you, focus on Him, the author and finisher of your faith.
I pray for you today that you may find encouragement within. That the light of God may pierce that darkness and grant you access into a better life just as God planned for you.
Declare this,
I am a somebody, God’s special beloved, a joint heir with Christ Jesus. My life is turning around for good.
