YOU ARE REDEEMED

From the Shepherd's Desk by Charles Magaiza

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Galatians 3:13-14 KJV)

The word redeemed means to ransom; buying back! Adam in the garden of Eden committed treason and gave over power to the devil opening up demonic portals that brought all sorts of suffering to humanity. You might have heard that we were all born in sin, this being from the Adamic era. We all became slaves to the devil, to command as he pleased. Jesus came not carrying the blood of Adam but that of God this is explained by the virgin birth.

Being king, he humbled Himself and became the son of Man. When the time came, He went about doing good, healing all those that were sick and oppressed by the devil. He brought redemption to human kind and presented us with a choice. To receive Him as Lord or remain under the shackles of the enemy. Being driven by love, He wants all of us to experience salvation.

He took the curse for us when he was crucified fulfilling the prophesy that says ‘cursed is he that hangs on a tree.’ The Blessing Of Abraham had to be released to everyone including Gentiles and this was accomplished on the cross through Jesus Christ. I want you to understand today that He brought all good things and the enemy, the devil of course is the author of everything bad!

It is important that you receive Him as your saviour and believe the work He did on the cross as yours. He loves you so much that if you were the only person on earth He would still have come to redeem you from the hands of the enemy. I want you to know today that the moment you receive Him, you go above all oppression and command of the enemy! You become a new creature under the bloodline of Jesus Christ, this is where the enemy can’t tread.

I pray for you today that you may understand the work that was done at Calvary. That you understand that the redemption He brought you is more powerful than any disease, poverty, oppression or circumstance.

Declare this,

Lord Jesus come into my life. Be the Lord and saviour of my life. I renounce a life of sin and take on the life that Christ brought. Every curse that pursued me is broken and I believe from now on I am a new creature in Christ Jesus!
