Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:24 KJV)
It is amazing how many stories you hear of people who promise to do something and never fulfill it. I am sure you can name those who borrowed money from you and despite their tears doing it never returned it. You can also see others who made vows to be faithful in a marriage and never honored them. Those in business can name many occasions of unfaithfulness from their partners.
Today, I want to let you know that you can depend on Him. The Apostle Paul tells us that Jesus who called us is faithful. He will perform that which He said He will do. It doesn’t matter what you are facing today, you can depend on Him. Put all your faith and trust in Him and you will witness a total turn around of things in your life. He will do it! It means He is a performing God! He is not a dumb idol or an absent God. He is ever present to give help when needed.
Faithfulness is a decision one must take by allowing the Holy Spirit to take leadership in your life. It would be an anomaly for you to expect Him to come through on a situation when you are not faithful yourself. He says draw nigh unto me and I will draw nigh unto you (James 4:8). If you are not seeing results, examine your life. Are you still walking uprightly with God?
Today I urge you to purge yourself of all things that are not of God, start making steps towards Him. He is faithful, you will start witnessing change around you as He fulfills every promise. You will see Him doing it whether in your health, finances and relationships or any other area.
2 Corinthians 1:20 says For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
I pray for you that you may witness the faithfulness of God in your life today.
Declare this,
I examine my life and realign it with my original zeal for the Lord. I allow the Holy Spirit to take leadership and help me purge my life of all unrighteousness. I raise my faith and I am confident He will do it.
