Day 28 – Unbelief – 21 Days of Fasting & Prayer 2015

21-days-28

Unbelief is the Greek word apistia which in its simplicity means faithlessness or disbelief. Now this may sound simple when dealing with simplified life matters like work situations,  relationships etc but has strong spiritual implications capable of shipwrecking ones life completely.

Faith is the key to any form of progress in God’s kingdom.

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

When there is no faith and unbelief fills the heart, it is impossible to please God~ IMPOSSIBLE! No matter how you try, it won’t happen. Jesus the son of God, carrying all the power heaven bestowed was limited by unbelief;

Matthew 13:58
And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

His power was cut short in it operation because of unbelief! The season we are entering needs total belief, there should be no shadow of doubt in God’s word inside of you. Your belief has to go to a level where it says, “God will do what He says He will do!” You have to develop a stubbornness concerning God’s word that even though the enemy tries to break in, your faith is resolute and can’t be moved by anything.

God wants to do mighty works in you but get rid of unbelief. Believe His word only, taking your eyes off circumstances and gearing yourself towards seeing His hand in the land of the living! There are mighty works available for you but are you ready to believe? May the grace of God empower you to to believe beyond circumstances!

I pray for you today that mighty works will be evidenced in your life here on earth as you move from one level of glory to another. May unbelief have no place in your heart and may you see the power of God change circumstances for you in Jesus’ name!
