OVERCOME WORRY

If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? (Luke 12:26 KJV)

We are living in a fast-paced world. Everything demands more from us unlike before. It is easy for one to fall into depression and worry. The demands of the modern day do not seem to reduce, everything keeps going up! The answer to this does not seem simple but Jesus in one of his teachings visited this subject. And said words that can help one to overcome worry.

He says if you are not able to do the least, why let your mind try and find a solution for the rest. All He is saying is that one must put their faith in God, not in man, not in their intellect or anything else. When faith is in God, we are then able to do things through His own strength not our strength! Remember Apostle Paul saying I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phil 4:13).

God looks after the lilies in the field, He looks after the grass! All these are of less importance. You are more precious to Him than gold, you are the apple of His eye! To overcome worry, put all your trust in Him! Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. It might look dark and gloomy, but don’t let your mind dwell on that. Let the word of God take over. Through the word you will witness God’s miracle power!

Is it a financial situation? Is it an illness? Is it a challenge with relationships? Whatever it is, take no thought of it, meditate on God’s word. Allow His word to lead the way not your own thoughts based on the world reports. Your miracle is close, it might seem to delay but it is close! There is no failure in God’s word. He knows what to do and He knows when.

Tell you what, God is always a step ahead. The only thing that will cause delay is your own mind. Be ye transformed by the renewal of your mind. As you allow the word to work on your mind. That stubborn situation will be transformed into a miracle breakthrough.

I pray for you that your mind starts focusing on the word and not on the reports of the world. May you receive grace to overcome all the attacks of the evil one.

Declare this,
I choose to overcome worry today. I take God’s word and meditate upon it. Through Him I will see victory in the least and in the rest.
