THE HOLY SPIRIT DWELLS IN YOU

From the Shepherd's Desk by Charles Magaiza

And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. (Romans 8:10-11 KJV)

The word of God is exciting because it carries answers and explanations for everything. Afterall it is authored by God Himself through inspiration. When you receive JESUS as Lord, sin cannot have dominion over you but the Holy Spirit becomes alive in you coupled with a special gift of righteousness.

When the Holy Spirit dwells in you, you are limitless because you have help from above and from within. God raised JESUS from the dead after He was crucified via the Holy Spirit. This same Holy Spirit is available for you, He will energize, repair and heal your mortal body. The Holy Spirit carries all the life giving tools. Just give Him room to operate.

One of the keys to license Him to operate is confession of the Word. Don’t speak negatively but speak in line with God’s word, declare what He said concerning your situation. Your body will be healed and rebooted. Remember JESUS went about doing good, He healed all manner of sicknesses and cast out demons that tormented mankind. It was a release of the captives who were held by the enemy. Upon receiving the gospel, their mortal bodies were energized!

You my friend are not an exception. The Father loves you dearly and wants you to be a stellar example of what He can do for His children. He gives beauty for ashes. He gives the crown of joy for mourning. He heals and repairs!

Age is not a factor in what He does, the Holy Spirit at the command of the Father turned an earth which was without form and it was void into a beautiful planet. If the earth could respond to His word, what of your own body? Refuse to respect what the natural eye sees. Don’t focus on any situation that is ‘without form and is void’ but focus on Him the author and finisher of your faith. Jesus is the High Priest of our confession. When we confess the word in harmony with Him we will see the hand of the Lord in the land of the living.

I pray for you for the ability to see beyond the symptoms and focusing on the word of God. Strength to conceive your miracle is made available to you by the Spirit of God as He stirs your mortal body.

Declare this,

I thank you Lord for healing and repairing me. Discouragement and negative words will not proceed out of me. I will declare God’s word only and I am confident that the Holy Spirit that raised JESUS from the dead is at work in me too!
